What Toolbox Verdict collects, why we collect it, and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

We record basic visit information such as page path, campaign parameters, referrer, and a random browser session identifier. If you use Toolbox Advisor, we store the questions you submit and the responses it provides. Do not submit passwords, customer lists, health information, financial information, or other sensitive data.

Why we use it

We use visit and conversation information to operate the site, prevent abuse, measure which guides help readers, and identify questions that deserve better published answers. We do not sell conversation data.

Storage and retention

A random identifier is stored in your browser so the site can preserve a short conversation. Chat logs are scheduled for deletion after 90 days. Operational or aggregated records may be retained longer when they no longer identify a conversation.

Service providers

The site uses Cloudflare for hosting and data storage and an AI model provider to generate Toolbox Advisor responses. Affiliate vendors receive information under their own policies after you choose to visit their site.

Your choices

You may use the published guides without opening the advisor. You can clear local site data in your browser. To request access or deletion, email [email protected] with enough information to locate the relevant session.
