What Toolbox Verdict collects, why we collect it, and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

We record basic visit information such as page path, campaign parameters, ad referral identifiers, referrer, and a random browser session identifier. If you use Toolbox Advisor, we store the questions you submit and the responses it provides. Do not submit passwords, customer lists, health information, financial information, or other sensitive data.

Why we use it

We use visit and conversation information to operate the site, prevent abuse, attribute affiliate referrals, measure advertising and which guides help readers, and identify questions that deserve better published answers. We do not sell conversation data.

Storage and retention

Random session and affiliate-click identifiers and campaign attribution may be stored in your browser for up to 30 days. Chat logs are scheduled for deletion after 90 days. Operational, conversion, or aggregated records may be retained longer when needed for reporting and fraud prevention.

Service providers

The site uses Cloudflare for hosting and data storage and an AI model provider to generate Toolbox Advisor responses. If ad measurement is enabled, OpenAI receives site events and ad referral identifiers. Affiliate vendors receive an anonymous referral sub-identifier and information under their own policies after you choose to visit their site.

Your choices

You may use the published guides without opening the advisor. We do not load the ad-measurement pixel when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. You can clear local site data in your browser. To request access or deletion, email [email protected] with enough information to locate the relevant session.
